1820 Erected by ELISABETH MACKIE ???? 1820. Erected by Elisabeth Mackie in memory of her husband David Rea, late Merchant in Dundee, who died 11th of April 1819, aged 47 years, Source: The Book of the Howff, ŠLibraries, Leisure and Culture Dundee, Local History Centre & is reproduced with kind permission.

Claimant: Heirs of David Rea his widow married to A Reid stationer.
