Thomas Hood maltman Dundee

and

Margaret Mustard his spouse

in memory of their children

viz

Thomas who died in June 1792

aged 4 years & 7 months

Margaret who died in Decr 1792

aged 21 months

 

Alexander who died in June 1798

aged 4 years & 9 months

and

John who died in Dec 1798

aged 3 years and 1 month

David Hood who died the 9th of April

1817 aged 28 years

 

Afflictions sore long time he bore

Physicians were in vain;

Till God did please to give him ease,

And free him from his pain.


Thomas Hood died the 30th day of April 1822, aged 56 years.

 

Margaret Mustard died 26th June 1859 in her 97th year. Also their grandson James Low who died 11th January 1836 in the 11th year of his age. Margaret Hood wife of John Low died in Quebec 3rd November 1861. Elizabeth Hood died 18th January 1875 and is interred in the Eastern Necropolis.
