Inscription.

In memory of ROBERT LOWSON late of Tay Street who died 27th January 1811 aged 42 years this stone was erected by CATHERINE SPEEDY his spouse and PETER LOWSON his son as a testament of respect to a husband & affectionate parent ROBERT LOWSON Junior died on the 3rd of march 1805 aged 11 months
