Inscription.

 Erected by Peter Laird, Merchant, Dundee, and his spouse Jannet Dow, in memory of their daughter, Margaret, who died the 29th November 1819 aged 1 month, also their son Robert, who died 3rd September 1837 aged 17 years.**


 

Broken.

 

September 1835

aged 17 years

Here also lie interred

the mortal remains of

Jannet Dow

who fell asleep in jesus

4th February 1849

aged 70 years

 

As for me

I will Behold thy face in righteousness

I shall be satisfied when I awake

with thy likeness
