1784 Erected by James Playfair,
Maltman in Dundee, in memory of his spouse Janet Paterson, who died the 23 July
1784, aged 27 years; also in memory of his three children, Thomas Playfair died
July 16 1780, aged 7 months; Agnes Playfair died 26 Februarie 1783, aged 14
days; Janet Playfair died 23 October 1783, aged 1 year and 10 months 5 days.
