Erected by William Duncan and James
McLaughlan in memory of their children, viz- Margaret Duncan who died on the 1st
of June 1806, aged 2 years; and of Margaret McLaughlan, who died on the 4th of
June 1811, aged 1 year and 9 months.

Dundee 5 March 1860 permission granted to the representatives of
the late William Duncan and James McLaughlan to remove the present headstone
No48 and to erect another in place thereof, but that without prejudice to the
rights of other parties.
